Rapid Intervention Team Checklist

Size-Up

  • Placement of windows, doors, fire escapes, porches, and so on.

Equipment

Other Considerations

  • Check with Rehab Officer on condition of firefighters
  • Check with Safety Officer to compare information
  • Relocate or add another RIT; request specialized resources to support RIT
  • Potential collapse and collapse area
  • EMS for the RIT
